National Scrapbooking Day, that is. Our lovely holiday is this Saturday, May 1st! How are you celebrating? While I would love to set aside the whole day to scrapbook and sip Mt. Dew, our schedule just won’t permit it this year. If you’re like me and have a full plate on Saturday, I have good news! CK is celebrating all week long!
Every day of the week, new content will be uploaded to Club CK. Here’s a sneak peek:
Monday: It’s time to get organized with top tips for organizing stickers, organizing a crop, and more!
Tuesday: Learn to take the perfect portrait with photography tips. Plus, see how easy it is to get your layout on the cover of a Creating Keepsakes magazine!
Wednesday: Enjoy journaling again with free journaling-spot downloads, a product review of fantastic journaling spots, and tips that make journaling fun!
Thursday: Learn top design tricks to make your layouts extraordinary.
Friday: View video clips from your favorite scrapbooking manufacturers to learn how to take their products to the next level with fabulous techniques!
Saturday: Enjoy a layout sketch every hour from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. MST. Download page titles and free fonts. Participate in a photo contest and page-layout contests with randomly selected winners for fabulous prizes, including over $150 of Stampin’ Up! product or gift certificates to shop online at Two Peas in a Bucket!
I was asked to design blinkies for the event which you can download here. Add a blinkie to your blog and Club CK signature and you could win a prize! Throughout the week, CK will be randomly perusing the Club CK forum and personal blogs. If they spot your Celebrating Scrapbooking blinkie, you could win a scrapbooking goodie bag. Three lucky winners will be randomly selected between now and May 1, 2010.
You’ll also see they are offering a special discount of 20% off all orders in the Scrap and Paper Corner Store – just enter promo code NSBD. You can read more about the online event here.
However you end up celebrating, I hope your day is filled with happiness, cardstock and all things scrappy!
