14 DAYS OF LOVE! Celebrating the countdown to Valentine’s Day!

I’m so excited about the new series 14 DAYS OF LOVE! Meant to foster strong relationships between you and those you love, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the countdown to Valentine’s Day in your home!

The first set in the series is based on the most famous LOVE scripture of all time! I Corinthians 13:4-8 tells us, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

Broken down into fourteen individual messages, this well-known scripture becomes the perfect reminder of the love God so beautifully created and will take you from February 1 all the way through Valentine’s Day! (Psst! The numbers on the tickets are actually dates!) I’ve also included a set of blank tickets so you can write your own sentiments! Simply print, trim and spread the love.

1. FOR YOUR SPOUSE : Hand write a love note on the back of the ticket that connects with the scripture on the front! Example: For Day 1 “Love is patient”, you could tell your spouse how much you appreciate how gentle and patient he is with the children, etc.
2. FOR YOUR CHILDREN : Print a set for each child, include a short encouraging note on the back, then HIDE one each day for each child to find.
3. Use a ribbon to attach the ticket to a candy bar or treat for an edible Valentine’s Day Advent!
4. Punch a hole at the top of each ticket and string on a ribbon to create a Valentine’s Day garland for your home.
5. When no one’s looking, slip a ticket (with an encouraging note on the back) onto the desk of a co-worker or leave on an empty table at a restaurant for someone to discover.
6. Use the images for scrapbooking, card making, and other projects! (PNG formats are included.)
7. Use as gift tags, cupcake toppers, valentines, gift embellishment, etc.

The second set in the series is a bit more flirty and intended for spouses only! 🙂 Keeping the spark alive in your marriage is so important as this is most revered and intimate relationship God designed! Beginning February 1st, surprise your husband daily with a new flirty message. A total of 14 tickets (and a couple extras) will take you all the way through Valentine’s Day!

I’ve included TWO different color combinations for you to choose from (or you can even mix and match)! Mint/Melon and Red/Pink/Aqua in both .PDF and .PNG formats. I’ve also included a set of blank tickets so you can write your own sentiments! That’s a total of TWELVE downloads! Not just for Valentine’s Day, these tickets are great for adding spice to your marriage year-round!

1. Hand write a love note on the back of the ticket that connects with the message on the front.
2. Hide the tickets in his car, briefcase, lunchbox, medicine cabinet, etc. After the second day, I guarantee he’ll go searching!
3. Use a ribbon to attach the ticket to a candy bar or treat for an edible Valentine’s Day Advent!
4. Punch a hole at the top of each ticket and string on a ribbon to create a sexy Valentine’s Day garland for your bedroom.
5. Use the images for scrapbooking, card making, and other projects! (PNG formats are included.)

However, you choose to countdown the days until Valentine’s, I hope you make beautiful memories with the ones you love!

Last-minute Teacher Gifts? Anyone?

Calling all moms. Does this ever happen to you? Your child’s school Christmas party is tomorrow and you completely forgot about a gift for your child’s teacher. The mad scramble begins…digging through the box of (well-meaning but) unused gifts from last year…rummaging through your scrapbook stash to find SOMETHING to slap together…”Go ahead and go to bed sweetie, I’ll stay up and make a gift for your teacher.” Sigh.

Please tell me I’m not alone on this one.

If by chance, I’m not…

Here are some super quick and easy ideas you can throw together in mere minutes!

Fill a mason jar (or pasta sauce jar) with M&Ms and add one of these Christmas wraps. I’ve also included a set of free BONUS tags to use on the lids or as gift tags. Top with a ribbon. Done!

Wrap up some mini candy bars in these Christmas candy bar wrappers and pile ’em in a mug.

Or pair with these treat toppers! Just fill a standard size ziplock and staple on the topper. It would be a welcome sight sitting among all the apples and miniature figurines.

Have a candle in your stash? Slap on one of these Christmas wraps and you’re good to go!

Or get personal with these quick and easy personalized candy bar wrappers! Super quick turnaround time. Just print. Wrap. Give.

Or if your child has a favorite teacher, let him/her know with this printable art. Available in 4 colors. Just frame and go. Awesome indeed.

Psst! These also work great for co-workers, neighbors, family, friends…you get the idea. Good luck with your last-minuteness!

Happy Holidays!

Laundry Room Craziness

Okay. So here we are. Nine days from Christmas. Ask me how much Christmas shopping I’ve done. Go ahead. Ask.

My answer? It’s a big fat zero. ZERO! NO shopping done whatsoever. And what, you may ask, did I choose to do this morning? Work on my laundry room, of course! I think that seems like the natural choice.

Anyone else have a laundry room that’s boring white (or USED TO BE white, ech) with nothing on the walls? Laundry is bad enough, but it’s downright depressing just walking into such a bland room. Well, (for WHATEVER reason) this morning I decided to create some fun artwork for the walls. And I started with something that’s multi-purpose! A little something to satisfy this typography crazed girl and a little something to satisfy the missing sock induced crazed mom.

Simply print, frame and attach clothespins along the bottom to give lonely socks a place to find love.

No more single socks floating around sock drawers in this house! If you’re a missing sock induced crazed mom, or if you’re looking for a fun last minute Christmas gift, you can find this print in the Studio here!

There is more laundry goodness to come in my laundry room series…maybe I’ll get around to putting them on the shelves AFTER my Christmas shopping is done!

Happy Holidays! 🙂

Christmas Banner

The Christmas tree is calling my name (along with all the other decorations tucked away in storage totes)! With our warm t-shirt weather the last few days I haven’t really felt like decorating for the holidays. The ice on my windshield this morning solved THAT problem. Now to find those totes…

I’m really liking the red and aqua color palette for Christmas this year! Paired with white and silver, it looks so fresh. I designed a Christmas banner that I’ll put to good use in our home. I’m still trying to figure out what sentiment to spell out. I’m leaning towards, ” BEHOLD * YOUR KING ” I want something non-typical that points us back to the meaning of Christmas. 🙂

I just put the banner on the Studio 120 Underground shelves. You can see it here!

I made it in both red and aqua and included the complete alphabet so you can spell out whatever message you want. I also included a couple of bonus images.

I hope you enjoy the time you spend preparing for the birth of our Lord and Savior! 21 days and counting!

Christmas Here We Come!

I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!

I believe in taking one holiday at a time, so I refuse to do any Christmas shopping or decorating or planning until the day after Thanksgiving. Ahem. Soooo… I guess the countdown to Christmas has officially begun! 23 days and counting…it will be here before we know it!

I just stocked a few Christmas goodies on the Studio shelves.

Printable candy bar wrappers. These right here are my last-minute-gift life savers! I keep a bag of mini candy bars in reserve (hidden well, of course!) at all times. A couple of minutes and you have a quick and easy gift for a teacher, neighbor, friend or hostess.

And you can’t forget the matching treat toppers! Just fill any standard size ziplock bag with goodies and staple one of these bad boys on top. Done! I also included bonus matching tags to use for gifts and decor.

Whatever your pre-Christmas plans are, I hope you stay safe, warm, and take time to enjoy your family, friends, and the real reason for the season.
